Study On Urban General Planning Under The Administrative Regionalization Constraints

Linxia city, as the central city of Linxia Hui Autonomous Prefecture, a typical"large area of weak center", because of the rigid constraints of administrative divisions,presents the regional central city mission and insufficient of hinterland development,contradictions of the close relationship and the lack of research between Linxia city andLinxia County. These contradictions require us to break through the rigid constraints ofadministrative divisions during our overall planning process, under the overall planningand regional perspective, consider the relationship between Linxia city and the regionsurrounding cities.First of all, the paper explores the overall planning concept, plan formulation andCharacteristic features of the administrative districts by unscrambling the domestic andinternational theories basis and experiences.
