Study On The Comprehensive Management Of Mine Environment

In the21st Century, human development will face three major problems:population, resources and environment. For environmental problems, first care is theatmosphere environment、water environment, and air pollution, water pollution etc.But People incline to ignore the environmental geological problem of the lithosphere.Environmental problems have aroused people’s attention, along with the rapiddevelopment of economy， especially the deterioration of mine geologicalenvironment which has brought serious influence to our life. There are five prominentproblems of mine geology:1.The mining activities frequently lead to occupation of theland and serious destruction of the land.2.Mining leads to serious geological disasters,and even a threat to human life and property safety.3.The mining area and thesurrounding’s water circulation system damage causes the suffering of drinking tonearby residents.4.The discharge of waste gas, dust, waste has lead to air pollutionand acid rain pollution.5.It affects the ecosystem of the integrity and beauty.During the planned economy period, mining was carried out greatly on bothsides of highway of Shilong distract of National Road207in Pingdingshan City,which caused a lot of mine geological environmental problems since then. The wastesoil and waste residue discarded by mining has been10meters thick and their volumehas reached to millions of cube after the long-term accumulation. Besides, the coalgangue discarded after coal mining was piled along the two sides of National Road.All abovementioned waste slag was piled in ups and downs and scattered in thegovernance area, which changed the original ecological environment and destroyedthe landforms and landscapes. The original surface was mainly covered by wild forestand weeds in the governance area, but the heaping of waste soil and waste residuecovered the original vegetation after mining, causing the damage of originalvegetation, destroying the original ecological system and resulting in the visualpollution. So, the mine geological environmental governance is extremely urgent andimperative.The paper designs a set of governance scheme and implementation measures bycombining the current situation and practical exploration in the project area, based onthe geological environmental governance theories and practice researches of themining area at home and abroad. The first is the introduction part which puts forwardthe significance of the topic, that is, the necessity of mine geological environmentalgovernance in the Shilong district of National Road207. Through analyzing theresearch status at home and abroad, the contents such as writing thinking of the paperand main research methods are put forward. Then that is the general situation of minein the governance area and the summary of main geological environmental problems.And next is to design a set of governance scheme according to the current situation ofthe governance area. The last part of the paper is to come up with conclusions andexpectation.
