| The rapid development of tourism has brought tremendous economic benefit tothe society. meanwhile, the overused of natural resources and profit orienteddevelopment have passed serious impact to the sustainable development of thetourism. How to achieve the sustainable development of tourism is considered bylots of professors and scholars. Geo-park, because of its unrenewable resources andscience propularization education, has given higher attention on its sustainabledevelopment. Geo-park, with special scientific meaning, precious natural nature,profound esthetic meaning, is a blending of natural resources and humanitarianlandscape, which enjoying a high eco-culture and historical value. Grasped theopportunity of protecting tourism resources, guided by he principle of supporting thelocal economy and culture development and the sustainable development, is providespeople a higher level of sightseeing and resort sites. Geo-park is an importantprotection area in natural heritages and eco-environment as well as a nes way oftourism, strengthened people’s awareness on geo-science history. Educated withenvironmental protection and scientific knowledge, the tourists could opportunity tothe local economical development, deepen the connotation of tourism, enrich thetourism content, arise the level of tourism as well. But, there are some problems suchas lack of planning on construction and management of geo-park, shortage ofprotection on geo-park and professional tour guide on this part. This paper collectedthe related research and achievement systematically, founded by our geo-parkdevelopment, guided by the theory of sustainable, laid by the foundation of thesustainable development on Five Lotus Ponds. According to the current situation ofgeo-park and the issues on sustainable development, the successful experience onsustainable development on Geo-park at home and board, this paper will pose thepolicy on promoting the sustainable development of geo-park and laid referentialmeaning to other countries. |
