In this paper,the performance of medical rubber was studied,it was aimed atseeking high performance medical rubber formulation.The study mainly includes:Theregeneration process and reuse of Butyl rubber that used in medical bottle stopper.TheUV detection for raw materials of rubber, measuring the ultraviolet photometric valueand seeking the minimized ultraviolet photometric values,then makeing the harmful tohuman body fall minimize.The difference between different vulcanization systemvulcanizates’s performance,the aging performance of Isoprene rubber and thecalculation of Isoprene rubber’s using time were studied.The mechanical propertiesand DMA curve were used in comparing plasticizer DOP and non-toxic plasticizerATBC,realize the using of ATBC replace DOP in medical rubber products.In theend,prepared high performance medical rubber formula which comply with the requirements of the people.The research shown that,the wastede butyl rubber that used in medical rubberbottle stoppers,after the cracking realize regeneration,by the IR and thermo-gravimetricanalysis we know that:the reclaimed butyl rubber’s structure was similar to the butylrubber;the Mooney viscosity of the reclaimed butyl rubber told us that hightemperature static condition had better effects to the butyl vulcanizates’reclaiming thandynamic shear.In the study of the reclaimed butyl rubber’recycling, with the increasingamount of reclaimed butyl rubber, the Mooney viscosity of the IIR and EPDM mixedrubber decreased,and the mechanical properties such as tensile strength,tear strength,tensile elongation had no significant changes. Therefore realized the butyl rubber’sregeneration using.The UV test of kinds of rubber promoting show that: the autumn of lamb and twofor dithiocarbamic acid ligand salts promoting which have the molecular structure thatare straight chain had the lowest ultraviolet absorbance value.So in medical rubberproducts that contact with liquid drug derectly should try to use rubber promoting thathad low ultraviolet absorbance value. The vulcanization system had significant influence on mechanical properties andaging performance keeping rate of the isoprene rubber vulcanizates.Ordinary sulfursulfide system,half effective,effective, low sulfur and no sulfur vulcanization systemhad significant influence to isoprene rubber,and DPTT had bigger effect on themechanical and aging properties.Due to the different types crosslinking,thevulcanizates of peroxide vulcanization system TX29had better aging performancethan the sulfv vulcanization system vulcanizates.The rubber antiager MB had the bestprotective effect in most rubber antiager,and with the increasing of the content of theantiager, the aging performance keeping rate becoming better.Microcrystalline waxhad protective effect to the vulcanizates’ ozone aging.The butadiene rubber’ additionimproved the phenomenon of tacky after aging,and had no effect on the machnicalproperties. According to Arrhenius’ equation,by accelerated aging experiment, we canpredict the actual storage life of vulcanizates.In the using of ATBC in medical NBR,from the basic mechanics performance testand DMA checking,we kown that non-toxic plasticizer ATBC can replace plasticizerDOP used in medical rubber.
