The world is experiencing a change in warming and the impact of climate change is more and moreprominent with the exacerbation of change in the climate. As the main area of the conservation ofbiological diversity and fragile ecological environment, nature reserve has been affected by climatechange and therefore it is facing a series of challenges. Legal help is needed in providing appropriateguidance to fight climate change due to the legal system being an important aspect of the effectivemanagement of nature reserve. In China, the nature reserve is faced with the challenge of climatechange and the laws can’t provide appropriate legal protection due to the relevant laws are not adaptedfor climate change. As a result, climate change is making a greater influence on nature reserves and hasan adverse affect to the ecological security of China. There is an urgent need to improve the legislativeand legal system in order to provide legal safeguard in combating climate change. Combining China’slegislative status for Nature Reserve and the need to deal with climate change,"Nature Reserve Act”should be enacted, improvement of the legal system and revision of the legal response are needed toprovide a comprehensive legal protection in combating climate change.Firstly, this article analyzed the current situation of climate change and nature reserves using thetheoretical analysis method which is based on the analysis result that researched the impact andchallenges of climate change on nature reserve. An analysis and research was conducted regardingChina attempt in climate change, has revealed inadequacy in the existing laws which are not able toprovide legal protection for nature reserves regarding climate change. Lastly this paper put forward theneed to improve China corresponding legislative and legal systems. The need to build "the NatureReserve Act” is based on the study of the analysis of the legislative basis of the status of the NatureReserves in China and relevant legislation need to be amended to help the Nature Reserve combatclimate change. With climate change, there is an ever need to improve on the ability to combat it and toprotect the rare resources of the Nature Reserve.
