Yam is a traditional Chinese health food and Perennial twining herbs,Tuberof yam is very rich nutrition such as starch,fat,protein, vitamin,trace elementsand many active ingredients: Polysaccharide, Allantoin,Saponin,Polyphenols etc.The medicinal value of Chinese yam is very important,including reducing bloodglucose and blood lipids,opposition of oxidation tumor,mutation and besenile,renal ischemia reperfusion injury in rats and liver injury. In addition to theabove medicinal value,the clinical preliminary shows that Chinese yam also hasincreased the number of platelets. In preventing the outflow of blood andcoagulation process,platelet plays a very important role and it can beadhesion,aggregation of secretion,systolic blood clot and multiple function,forpatients with low blood platelet yam is an agent without any side effects.This study was extracted the main active components in Chinese yam by theways of water solution extraction method and organic solvent. By single factorand orthogonal experiment, this study improve on the main active components ofextraction condition. This study detected the content of the active ingredient byultraviolet spectrophotometer and visible spectrophotometer. Finally, the rabbitanimal experiment and platelet detection was advanced in order to determine theyam in rabbit platelets can increase the quantity of active ingredients. Healthfood research and applications to provide a reasonable scientific basics.Theresearch contents are as follows:(1) By single factor and orthogonal experiment,extraction conditions of Chineseyam polysaccharide is as follows: temperature80℃,time2h,ethanolconcentration90%,solid-liquid ratio1:40,extract2times,with the yield of2.12%.(2) By single factor and orthogonal experiment,extraction conditions of Chinese yam allantoin is as follows:temperature70℃,time45min, ethanolconcentration40%,solid-liquid ratio1:15,extract2times,with the yield of0.26%.(3) By single factor and orthogonal experiment,extraction conditions ofChinese yam saponin is as follows: temperature70℃, time4h, ethanolconcentration80%,solid-liquid ratio1:15,extract2times,with the yield of0.14%.(4) By single factor and orthogonal experiment, extraction conditions ofChinese yam fatty acid is as follows:temperature80℃, time10h,Petroleum ether,solid-liquid ratio1:20, extract2times,with the yield of0.085%.(5) By single factor and orthogonal experiment,extraction conditions ofChinese yam total polyphenols is as follows: temperature60℃,time2h, acetone60%,solid-liquid ratio1:20,extract2times,with the yield of0.091%.(6) The rabbit animal experiments shows: yam polysaccharide can increasethe quantity of rabbit platelets; with the polysaccharides the higher, the plateletcount increased more, and the effect is more obvious.(7) Research and experiment of effervescent tablets shows: Selected glucoseas ingredients, magnesium stearate as lubricant, the study showed that Chineseyam polysaccharide color was brown,so prepared polysaccharide effervescenttablets color is brown,hardness and quality was up to the standards.
