Since China jioned The WTO, Chinese textile and apparel enterprises have been confronted with great chanllege. Especially in the globle financial risk of 2008, how to raise brand competitive power, design and make those products which can meet the consumers’ satisfaction have become the goal of these enterprises. This thesis is based on the background and studies the match between armhole and sleeve cap of inside shoulder cut circular sleeve. In this research, the relation between pattern design of inside shoulder cut circular sleeve and its static aesthetics & dynamic comfort is studied. Through this way, the apparel developing trend of personality and fashion is catered and the consuming demand of static aesthetics & dynamic comfort is met.The research is carried out via oretical studies, market investigation, experimental design, data analysis and mathematical modeling. The main content of this research is as following:1.The existing pattern desigen theory of circular cut sleeve is studied. Based on this the concept of foundational circular cut sleeve and inside shoulder cut circular sleeve are defined, and their pattern design methods are proposed.2.Through many times of pattern making, trying on the sample dress and amending the pattern, finally the foundational circular cut sleeve with good static aesthetics & dynamic comfort is fixed. And its armhole and sleeve cap structure dimension are mathematically modeled with the bust dimension.3.Changing on the armhole and sleeve cap of the foundational circular cut sleeve, the method of algebraic cut and patch is put foward, and the algebraic cut and patch method is carried out to study the pattern design of the inside shoulder cut circular sleeve. In this way, three sleeve widths are made. Three sleeve widths stabilize the shape of the inside shoulder cut circular sleeve and guarantee their match with the armhole. And this point is the innovation of the research.4.Marketing investigation and body measuring are carried out, and through this way the structure parameters and their changing range are fixed. By subdivision, and then permutation and combination,12 sample dresses are made. Then the static evaluation experiment on the dummy and the dynamic evaluation on the models are carried out. Besides the angle measuring expriment is also carried out. And through this way, experimental data is got.5.Using normalization and Mutlivatiate and Bivariate Correlations (Kendall’s tau-b) to pretreat and analyse the data,11 indexes which can best show the feature of the sample dresses are got. Among the 11 indexes, four are static indexes, and seven are dynamic indexes. Three main factors are abstracted from the 11 indexes, and they are the aesthetics factor, comfort factor and angle factor. Further analyses with correlation analysis and grey relational degree analysis are carried out, and the correlations between the main factors and these 11 indexes, and the correlations among the structurel parameters are analysed.6.Using regression analysis, the mathematical models between aesthetics factor, comfort factor and angle factor with structurel parameters are set up, as well as the mathematical models among these structurel parameters are established. And through theoretical test, these mathematical models are proved to be correct.7.Through making sample dresses, the mathematical models are tested. The test includes two sections. First:Structure parameters are input to forecast the style characteristics of sleeves; Second:According to the mathematical model, the sleeve cap structure dimensions are computed and then tested via making sample dresses. And the mathematical models are correct according to the test.The result of the research is effctive and workable by experiment and it supplies a new pattern making method for the diversify and delication of the circular cut sleeve. The research enriches the pattern desigen theory for upper clothes and it can be used in productive practice. It has both academic value and practical value.According to the check of new work station of Education science and technology of Ministry, similar studies have not been found in this field, so it has great significance and will be useful and helpful for further study.
