Human body shape is the basis of clothing structure design,and clothing structure directly affects the fit and comfort of clothing.This paper mainly focuses on the shape and classification of the shoulder and arm of the elderly women,the design of the sleeve pattern and the automatic generation system of the sleeve pattern.The specific research content is as follows:Firstly,Anthroscan,a German non-contact three-dimensional body scanner,was used to collect anthropometric data of 160 elderly women aged 60-75 years in Wuhan.According to the characteristics of the shoulders and arms of elderly women,22 measurement items that could affect the key parts of the sleeve structure were selected.The analysis of the measured data by SPSS statistical software shows that the relative dispersion of the five variables of arm rhizosphere,upper arm girth,maximum arm girth,full arm length,and upper arm length is large,indicating that the size range of shoulder and arm girth of older women varies widely.Meanwhile,arm lengths of older women also differ significantly.Secondly,through cluster analysis,six kinds of elderly women's shoulder and arm were obtained,which were respectively represented by A,B,C,D,E and F.The reverse engineering software Geomagic Studio was used to processes the data of the shoulder and arm of the elderly women,establishes six corresponding models of the shoulder and arm of the elderly women,and intuitively and comprehensively represents the shape of the shoulder and arm of the elderly women: there are significant differences in the length,girth and cross-section of the arm root between the shoulder and arm of the elderly women.Thirdly,two variables,full arm length and upper arm girth,are selected as independent variables,and other shoulder arm detail size variables are used as dependent variables.Combining the foregoing analysis results,regression analysis of sleeve parameters was performed.Combining the six types of shoulder and arm morphology,the sleeve structure of elderly women was drawn according to the obtained regression equation.With the help of CLO3 D virtual fitting software,the sleeve type of each body type was tried on the human body model,and its try-on effect showed that the subject's sleeve structure design was reasonable.Fourthly,based on the linear regression analysis and the sleeve structure design,the GUI graphic user interface is designed for the automatic generation of the old women's sleeve pattern by using the MATLAB programming software.The corresponding sleeve pattern can be automatically drawn by inputting only two parameters of full arm length and upper arm circumference in the interface,so as to construct the automatic generation program of the old women's sleeve pattern.The sleeve pattern established by the subject conforms to the shape characteristics of the shoulder and arm of the elderly women,and meets the wearing fit and comfort of the elderly women's sleeves.The conclusion of the study provides a data reference for the clothing enterprises of 60-75 years old women's body shape.It has a certain practical value for mass production and personalized customization of the clothing for the elderly women.
