Debris flow is a common natural geological disaster in mountainous areas. Becauseof their potential very harm to human socio-economic systems, scholars have beenconcerned widespreadly at home and abroad.It is the hot spots study of mountaindisaster prevention and reduction. Debris flow disaster is one of the the most destructivegeologic disasters that human facing.The debris flows disaster along national highwayNo.318breakout frequently in Tibet area with complex causes, the many influencefactors, and difficult control.This paper firstly based on the research results of the debris flow disasters at homeand abroad, then research many related materials in Tibet,such as geographic conditions,topography, geological lithology, regional geological structure, meteorological andhuman engineering activities. investigate and analysis the details of the geologicaldisasters in Tibet along national highway No.318, fully grasp the geological disasterstype, number, distribution, damage type, prevention and control work situation.Secondly, this paper based on the investigation and study of natural environmentgeology, deeply analysis the relationship between the debris flow disasters alongnational highway No.318in Tibet and the lithology, fault, earthquake, topographyenvironment, rainfall, human activities and so on, summarizes the debris flow disasters′characteristic and regularation in the regional distribution, stratigraphic lithology andtime distribution.At last, in the light of the debris flow combining a large number and widedistribution along along national highway No.318in Tibet area, the paper puts forwardthe prevention and control guiding ideology, principle and target about the debris flowgeological disasters, analysis and study the prevention and control measures fromengineering control measures, biological control measures, monitoring and warningmeasures, and management guarantee measures theser four angles.According to thedifferent characteristics of debris flow disaster, the paper gives the correspondingprevention and control measures.
