The development of advertising media industry has proved that the progress of scienceand technology has important influence on the development of advertising media industry.This paper systematically studies the impacting mechanism of the development of scienceand technology upon advertising media industry, analyses the development process, thepresent situation and the existing problems of China’s advertising media industry, andelaborates the problems that the present situation of China’s advertising media industry willencounter. This paper also illustrates the impacting mechanism of the development ofscience and technology upon advertising media industry in terms of its constituent elements,organization structure and functions,etc. The research results demonstrate the apparentproblems of China’s advertising media industry, namely the inferior constituent elements,irrational organization structure and its single function,etc; The progress of science andtechnology will certainly enhance constituent elements of advertising media industry to beknowledge intensive, talent intensive and technology intensive; The advertising mediaindustry must reshape its industry position by consolidating its industry mechanism,diversifying its functions and forms.
