Biological concepts, which are the focus and difficult points in biology teaching, are animportant part of biological knowledge. Do a good job in the biological concept of teaching isthe key to success in high school biology teaching. Past researches in the concept of teaching, ofwhich the basics is from the behaviorism to the cognitive psychology are obvious out of date. Itis necessary to carry out systematic research on the Biology concept-teaching base on the newlearning theory.This paper develops on the researches in recent years. And is based on the the theory ofsituated cognition of learning the Biology concept-teaching. It states the readers the steps of thedevelopment involved in the theory of situated cognition, and also tells the main point and thedifference between the situational cognitive theory and constructivist theory. It puts forward theprinciples and possible methods to be followed in the teaching of biological concepts, and putsforward some feasible measures to improve the Biology concept-teaching effect. I carried outexperiment research with two classes. The study result shows that the experimental class getshigher marks than the compared class. This proves the practical value of situated cognitiontheory on Biological concept-teaching, can be good examples for Biology concept-teaching.
