The refined calculation of topological relationships is necessary in the updating of geospatial data. At present, many researchers studied the description of the refined topological relationship, while there is no detailed computing method to reference in programming. In order to improve the point, this paper describes the refined calculation of topological relationships. Based on the topological relation of lines and areas, refines the topological relation of lines, summarizes the judgment method of topological relationships for complex cadastral parcel, and implements its application to data updating. These methods are used in Evillage1.0. The main research works include:(1) Touch and cross are two important categories of intersections to differentiate in the line and line topological relations. And it is reported a new algorithm that can distinguish this two categories of intersections and adapt to intersections between a pair of lines which include nodes and lines. It can be used to be the judgment method of topological relationships for cadastral parcel.(2) The calculation method of topological relation classification for complex cadastral parcel has been investigated in detail in this paper. Based on the calculation method of topological relation classification for complex cadastral parcel,it is presented the calculation method of set-oriented.(3) The application of The refined calculation of topological relationships to data updating is topological quality inspection. While the relationships is different, the methed of data processing is different.(4) A prototype system is developed using VC#and Object Oriented Progarmming to examine the methods and models presented in this thesis.
