A Study On Taxonomy Of Family Cynipidae(Hmenoptera) In China

The gall wasps (Cynipidae) were first reviewed in this paper. The history of classification of thisfamily, composition of the family, host plant, the distribution and classification progress in China arebriefly reviewed. Known Cynipidae species of China were systematically and thoroughly studied, totally600speciemens examined were from rearing host galls in lab and nest collection, Zhejiang Agricultural andForest University. we reported63species of4tribe and17genera belonging to Cynipidae,6genus and2species were firstly recorded from China.1new genus and34new species were actually examined in thisresearch. Characters, host records and distribution biology were given. In addition, We further provided anillustrated key to tribe, genere and species of the China.
