A Study On Taxonomy Of Ten Genera Of The Family Figitidae (Hymenoptera: Cynipoidea) In China

The Figitidae is one of the largest and the most diverse family in superfamilyCynipoidea. The history of classification of this family, composition of the family andit’s the distribution are briefly reviewed in China. Known Figitidae species of Chinawere systematically and thoroughly described and illustrated based on about650speciemens. We reported46species of10genera in2subfamily belonging toFigitidae,18new species were actually identified in this study. In addition, we alsoprovided keys to genus or species from the China.
