Study On Taxonomy Of Neckera In China

The Necekera，with about70species，was mostly distributed in tropics and subtropics，few intemperate zone low coastal area. Because of lots of species，difficulties in identification and samplecollection (most species occur on tree trunks，rock surfaces)，there is still no specific systematical studyon Chinese Neckera. Otherwise，study on Chinese Neckera is very important for revealing the flora ofChina and the world.More than200type specimens and about4000specimens from Chinese and foreign herbariumswere examined. According to related literatures，field investigation and supplementary collection，revise Chinese Neckera’s taxonomy and analyse the flora’s components and the geographicaldistribution pattems.The main results are as follows：1.Based on the study，19species belonging to Neckera are recognized as occurring in China，including N. pennata、N. borealis、N. crenulata、N. decurrens、N. enrothiana、N. flexiramea、N.goughiana、N. humilis、N. konoi、N. laevidens、N. neckeroides、N. perpinnata、N. polyclada、N.serrulatifolia、N. setschwanica、N. undulatifolia、N. xizangensis、N. yezoana、N. Yunnanensis.2.Based on the analysis of the distribution of Neckera in China，there’re four concentratingdistributions including Central China region，Qingzang region，Hengduan Mts region，and East Chinaregion. The provinces with numbers of Neckera are Sichuan(11species，57.89%)，Yunnan (8species，42.10%)，Xizang (6species，31.6%). The species only from China are distributed in Xizang，Sichuanand Yungui region.3.The floristic analysis indicates that Endemie to China is the largest element in Chinese Neckeraflora，9species are known only from China(47.37%). The second is East-Asia elements，7species(36.84%). They compose the main elements of Chinese Neckera flora.
