Wage is the source of workers'livelihood, also workers most concerned about, wage is the most direct and most practical interests of labor relations. Collective wage consultation system is the bargaining dialogue mechanism between the crucial business stakeholders in the modern market economy, the labor codetermination mechanism which meets the requirements of the enterprise wage distribution in China's socialist market economy, and is also an important legal system taken to adjust labor relations in the industrialized countries worldwide. Practice has proved that, establishing and promoting the collective wage negotiation mechanism is vital method which can stable labor relations, reflect fair distribution, reach the aim of bilateral, promote social harmony.The contents of this article are six parts. The first part, the'Introduction'discusses the background and significance of the article, to study the theoretical basis at home and abroad to clarify the framework of article, methods and content.The second part, the'Summary of concepts and theories of collective wage negotiations', expressed concept of a collective wage consultation system, basic principles and its role, systematically introduced its historical origins and development processes, as well as patterns and trends of collective wage negotiations in the Western countries.The third part, the'development status of China's collective wage negotiations', through systematical description of the historical evolution of China's wage collective bargaining system, development status, operating mode and work procedure, compared and analyzed the characteristics of the development of China's collective wage consultation system.The fourth part, the'promotion of collective wage negotiations in Tianjin', through the study analyzed the basic status of the collective wage consultation system in Tianjin, the development process, summarized the practices promoting the collective wage negotiations Tianjin, and made a deep research and analysis for the current main problems and causes.The fifth part, the'Suggestions for innovation and development of Tianjin collective wage negotiations', by summing up experiences and lessons of the western market economy countries collective bargaining, strengthening the legal mandatory role, strengthening the leading role of government to promote Tianjin collective wage consultation system innovation and development.The sixth part, the'Conclusions and Outlook', systematical summarizes the full text of research, the inadequacies of the present study, the prospect of future research and development direction.
