According to the sixth nationwide population census data, the elderlypopulation in fujian province has reached4.21million,11.42%of the totalpopulation, The elderly population is so great that it will bring to the socialand economic great impact. Development of elderly human resources areimportant ways of responding to aging.From the social level,re-employmentof the elderly can increase revenue of themselves, reduce social burden andmaintenance costs.From the old personal, get a job or participate in Socialwelfare activities can reflect their values, establish new social relations and berespected.Elderly education is not only an indispensable part of the lifelongeducation system but also the objective requirements for the formation of alearning society. Elderly education is great measure of reinvigorating theprovince through human resource development.On one hand,different kindsof organizations of elderly education is the main studying place for elderlypeople,Important ways to satisfy the spiritual and cultural needs.On the otherhand,these organizations supplies one way that elderly people can show theirvalue.so elderly education means a lot for elderly human resourcedevelopment.This study of elderly human resources development in fujian provincedescribes the present situation of the development of elderly human resourcesand takes the elderly talents development in south region of fujian for example.After a analysis,we can make a conclusion that the old have intensedesires of being employed;the effect of elderly education for elderly humanresource is being appreciated;The employment proportion of elderly people isnot high and the number of jobs available is small;full-time teachers andadministrators in university for old age need to be expanded.In view of theseproblems, this article gives the suggestions such as change mind and make acorrect understanding of the elderly human resource;develop elderlyemployment project especially service industry;Strengthening the teachersteam and the management team construction;expand the range of elderlyeducation;pay attention to the elderly re-employment training ect. This articlehave six parts,the first part is introduction,the second and third parts areexperience of old human resources development in and out china, the agingstatus of fujian and it's impact on the economic development,the forth andfifth parts are countermeasures and suggestions, the last is conclusion of thearticle and some shortcomings during writing.
