| As a western inland city, Chongqing is an important center of Chinese cities, aneconomic center in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River and an important growthpole in the West. Under the guidance of building" Inland open Highlands" strategy, theopen economy effect of Chongqing is gradually revealed. From the perspective offoreign trade, Chongqing foreign trade volume increased from8.56billion in1998to84.12billion in2010,6times as much as it was and the average growth rate is114.8%.The imports increased from7.45billion in1998to33.43billion in2010, withan average annual growth rate of112.2%.The export volume increased from4.26billion in1998to50.7billion in2010, with an average annual growth rate as high as117.2%. From the perspective of foreign capital, Chongqing foreign direct investmentincreased from3.19billion in1998to42.95billion in2010,13times increased and itsannual growth rate as high as122.1%.Research proceeding from the present inland open economy of Chongqing,according to the actual condition, design a complete set of comprehensive index systemto measure the inland open economy, building assessment models, by comparison withthe neighbouring six provinces as well as the national, evaluating its economicopenness and the open economic development potential. And is based on the results ofanalysis, examining the advantages and disadvantages of developing inland openeconomy in Chongqing, and make relevant suggestions, provide the scientific basis forleading cadres at all levels to make macro decisions, also provide services to theCommunity research inland open economy in Chongqing, is of great theoretical andpractical significance.This paper focus on building the inland open economy of Chongqing this mainline, research mainly include the following aspects:Chapter1is the introduction.In this part, the author cuts into the theme by puttingforward the question, and illustrates the basis of this topic selection. After give thedefinitions of the basic concepts in this article, the author indicate his research methods,the data sources and the main research contents.Finally, this article points out thepossible existence of innovation and the shortcomings.Chapter2mainly articulates the basis of the inland open economic theory andliterature review section. In this section, the author gather up the domestic and foreign research results about the proposition.First, elaborated the related concepts of theinland open economy for follow-up studies to lay a solid theoretical foundation. Then,the paper provides an overview of domestic and foreign scholars on the theory of theopen economy literature, trying to seek some sort of balance in the methods andconclusions, have realistic significance to follow-up studies.Chapter3is the construction of the open economy quantitative evaluation indexsystem and analysis of Chongqing inland open path. In this part, the author based onthe principle of scientific,systematic,feasibility and comparability, combining domesticand foreign academic research results, and take into account the factors of affecting theprovinces of economic openness and availability of data, construct an index system toevaluate the openness of Chongqing from the perspective of openness. Then based onthe established index system, utilizing comprehensive evaluation method to analyse theGeneral characteristics of open economy in Chongqing since being municipalitydirectly.Chapter4is the empirical part, compared the open economy among Chongqingand its neighbouring six provinces as well as the national. mainly using principalcomponent analysis method to compare with Chongqing and neighboring six inlandprovinces such as Sichuan, Yunnan, Guizhou, Hunan, Hubei and Shanxi, drawconclusions and existing weaknesses of the inland open economy in Chongqing, thendo analysis carrying out comparison on Chongqing and China economy openness.Chapter5is the section clarifies the conclusion, policy proposals and theprospects for further research. This part summarizes the study conclusions, and putforward corresponding policy recommendations in order to help Chongqing to developthe inland open economy highland better, and put forward a possibility of furtherresearch in the last. |
