International Oil Pattern Background Oil Cooperation Between China And Russia

China as a net importer of oil, its needs and imports occupy an important position in theworld oil supply and demand pattern and Russia as an oil-exporting country is alsocrucial in the international oil pattern. From a geopolitical point of view, China andRussia are obvious complementarities and potential for cooperation. For Russiaconcerned, China is indispensable in the direction of the Asia-Pacific oil exports, whileRussia is China's strong support to ensure the safety of import diversification and oilimports. Although the cooperation between the two countries have a huge advantage,but for various reasons, the development of Sino-Russian oil cooperation process isslow. From a political economy perspective, not the surface of the oil-related prices, buta mix of tremendous political and economic interests, this is determined by the nature ofthe strategic oil supplies. This article attempts starting from the perspective ofinternational political economy to analysis of the evolution of the international oilpattern, the plight of the oil cooperation between China and Russia and its partnersunder the international oil structure. Paper made up of four chapters, Chapter I describesthe evolution of the pattern of international oil and new features, and focus on theanalysis of Sino-Russian oil pattern, the potential and the possibility of laying thegroundwork for oil cooperation between China and Russia. The second chapterdescribed the progress of China-Russia oil and advantage, but the constraints of theSino-Russian oil cooperation can not be ignored. The third chapter discusses theinternational and domestic constraints of Sino-Russian oil cooperation currently. Andthe fourth chapter based on three factors as support point foundational,crucial andpromotional, the author make optimistic judgments for prospects to Sino-Russian oilcooperation, and in the final clarify my views and opinions on how to promoteSino-Russian oil cooperation.
