Research On The Sino-Russian Energy Cooperation

The global energy industry is an important base for the national economy industries, it's need overall planning, its need to use both of resources:domestic and foreign. Russia is the world's major producer and exporter of mineral resources, China is the world's major energy importer. That's why, the Sino-Russian energy cooperation is the focus of attention of economic and trade relations between two countries.Sino-Russian energy cooperation has obvious complementarity and bright future. China and Russia are good neighbors in the region. They have strong economic complementarity. In the political field, good political relations between two countries made a necessary political foundation for Sino-Russian energy cooperation. But more important is China has finance which Russia need, and Russia has energy resources which China need. Sino-Russian energy cooperation have some obstacles (problems), but Sino-Russian cooperation should based on the principles of equality, mutual benefit, on stratedy of long-term energy cooperation to realize (to reach) a win-win(both win) situation.This paper through the research of situation and problems of Sino-Russian energy cooperation, analyzed the necessity and feasibility of Sino-Russian energy cooperation. Then through the research of different cooperation model, in order to promote the process of Sino-Russian energy cooperation, this paper proposed the most optimal model of cooperation. Finally, this paper advanced effective countermeasure to the question how to promote energy cooperation between two countries.
