Geopolitics Research On Chinese Petroleum Security

As an important strategic material, petroleum not only arise economic problems, but also relate to one country's economic and military security. So petroleum security must be one of the most important parts of one country's security. The target of petroleum security is to ensure enough energy reserves for economic development and avoid dangerous situation as energy shortage. For one country's global strategy, petroleum security also is one of very important parts of geopolitical strategy.There are some severe challenges to China's petroleum security. On the one hand, petroleum consumption will increase with the rapid development of China's economy. But as the output of petroleum will not enhance obviously in the future, China will be conditioned by energy resource and depend on international petroleum market. On the other hand, as the keen competition in world petroleum market, it is very difficult for China to develop the supply channels of petroleum. Therefore, China's petroleum security seems to be more and more important as China's rapid development. And for this aim, in this paper I will synthetically study the impact of geopolitics on China's petroleum security according to world geopolitics and economic situation.This paper plays a basic point at the analysis of geopolitic structure, analyses the Chinese petroleum security situation systematicaly from the aspects of the safe condition of domestic petroleum,the diplomacy of petroleum geopolitics, the petroleum policy of the perimeter nation around our country.Finally puts forwards the strategic measures of our petroleum security for us to acknowledge the trends of our Chinese petroleum supply security according to the geopolitical strategy,and provides the referenced valuable information of the development of Chinese petroleum in 21 century.
