The report National Tourism Administration released in 2009 showed tourist economy and the overall tourism industry maintain rapid growth, tourism achieve more substantial growth in total revenue, the tourism industry on the economy and society further strengthen the leading role. Tourism has become the largest industry of "the people's livelihood," is one of six emerging consumer hot industry in the next few years. Tourism will be significant potential for development. Now, however, travel industry, especially in Hunan Huatian International Travel Service CO., Ltd in the market turmoil, market concentration is low, but the development of the industry is bound to emerge out of large enterprises. Hunan Huatian International Travel Service CO., Ltd is the leader of tourism industry, but if it can not grasp the opportunity in the process of pattern formation, and enhance their core competitiveness, it is likely to fail in the future competition. Therefore, it is very important issues to fostering the core competitiveness of the Hunan Huatian International Travel Service CO., Ltd.Combining the theory of the core competitiveness, value chain model, the development strategic theory and practical situation of company, it is cultivating the company's core competitiveness, protecting the core competencies for the successful implementation of strategic objectives. Meanwhile, the company conducted a number of high-level interviews to further grasp the company's situation and development ideas and goals. On the basis of these, combined theory with practical research methods, focus on core competencies Hunan Huatian International Travel Service CO., Ltd. In the paper, first reviewed the theory of core competence, value chain model of the theory and current research and the core competitiveness of travel content and features, the review of theoretical is to guide the conduct of research. Secondly, the comprehensive analysis the macroeconomic environment ,the tourism industry status and trends of Hunan Huatian International Travel Service CO., Ltd, from the perspective of internal conditions and capabilities of the Company 's internal environment, and pointed out the company's development problems. Again, with the development of the company's strategic positioning and goals, through the travel value chain model, determine the competitiveness of the company's core content and its composition. Finally, the paper proposes the cultivation of core competitiveness of the company strategy and the implementation of safeguards.
