Suqian Implementation Of The Strategic Choice Of The Industrialization Process

The thesis studies the development of industrial clusters in Suqian on the basis of former research results, and tries to set up a framework for promoting the regional economic development.At first, the author reviews the relevant industrial clusters theory and empirical research which has proved that industrial clusters achieve great success in regional economic development and they are a kind of effective model for enhancing region competitiveness. At present, China's empirical research of industrial clusters mainly concentrates on the developed areas such as Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Guangdong provinces. The study on Suqian is also very few. So, the industrial clusters study on Suqian city is crucial important. Next, the thesis identifies the existing industry clusters in Suqian through analyzing the city's statistical data combined with investigation. Further more, the author reveals the internal and external factors which constraint the development of regional industrial clusters. Finally, the thesis points out the approach for upgrading the industrial clusters'competitiveness in Suqian. In a well-established development strategy, more attention should be paid to the construction of clusters'dynamic mechanisms, and the government should take a right position in achieving these goals.In the conclusion, several policy implications are put out.
