Studies On Farmers' Income From Household Business In Guangxi

How to ensure the steady growth of agricultural production and farmers'income is one of the hot topics in recent years. Guangxi, as a big agricultural province (area), the farmers' income from household business in it occupies a large proportion of total income of farmers. It goes without saying that its steady growth playing a great role in increasing farmers' income. Income from household business directly reflect the level of the real situation of agricultural production, what's the problem with the growth of farmers'income from household business in Guangxi, what is the main factor in its growth, how to promote it's growth to improve the level of agricultural production in Guangxi, and how to promote agricultural development are the problems this paper trying to solve.This paper uses statistical and quantitative analysis methods. First of all, it analyzed the current structure of farmers'income in Guangxi and the differences it exists, it show that the current situation and existing problems are below:First, in the structure of farmers'income in Guangxi, the farmers' income from household business has occupied a large proportion, for example, it share 56% of the farmers whole income in 2009, much higher than that of the national average by 7 percentage points; Second, in the structure of farmers'income from household business, the income from Primary Industry has occupied the dominant position absolutely, at the same time the first crop income shares a large proportion of income from Primary industry, it shows that the level of farmers'household business in Guangxi is still on the lower stage; Third, the regional differences in the level of the farmers'household business are obvious. Then it analysis the factors such as nature conditions, market price, model of agricultural production, agricultural investment, agricultural technical advancement and agricultural production materials that affecting the farmers'income from household business in Guangxi. Through these analysis we found the problem that restrict the growth of farmers' income from household business in Guangxi, these factors are:Agricultural infrastructure weakness; the rate of agricultural producing resources disharmony; the problem of agricultural labor unemployment serious; agricultural structure adjusting slow; agricultural technical effect not obvious. Finally we bring forward the policy suggestions about how to increase the farmers'income from household business in Guangxi.
