Research On The Factors Influencing Farmers’Net Income In Guangxi

Whole society and the government have paid close attention on the problem of farmer’s income. Generally speaking agriculture always accompanied by a certain amount of risk. Farmer’s income is not only related to the development of rural agriculture, but also related to the society’s harmony and stability. General Secretary Hu Jintao emphasized that party should treat the solution of the three problems about countryside, agriculture and farmers issues as the top priority on the18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. On CPPCC and NPC of2013,Premier Wen Jiabao also stressed the need to intensify agricultural support and Consolidate and strengthen the position of agriculture for increasing farmers’ income. Farmers’ income has been significantly improved under the attention of the party and the government.This paper analyzes the total number, sources and composition of farmers’ income based on1991-2011annual income data to induce characteristics of the income of the farmers in Guangxi. Overall, Income from household business operation accounts for a large proportion of farmer income, wage income has become an important source of farmer’s income in Guangxi. Income from first industry accounts for the vast proportion of income from household business operation. Migrant income accounts for the vast proportion of salary income. Establish the principal component regression model with spss18.0, found that five main factors, price of agricultural production、price of agricultural products、the structure of agricultural production、the efforts of government support to agriculture、the level of agricultural mechanization and farmer personality.Finally, positive suggestions to be proposed for improving farmer’s income. The best way is to adjustment of the agricultural structure, create a well-known brand, speed up the development of urbanization, improve the quality of farmers, increase financial support to the agriculture.
