With its open policy, China's agriculture and economy had made rapid development, agriculture-related enterprises in the agriculture and rural economy have become increasingly prominent. Along with the further development of globalization, the enterprise has to face uncertain environment and tough competition. In the fast-changing market, the agribusinesses must to enhance competitiveness for develop. Performance appraisal, which serves as the key link of Performance management, is referred to the crucial index for enterprise to make personnel decision and provides basis for payment policy and incentive mechanism of enterprise to realize its strategic aim. Therefore, it is very important to the success of the enterprise to establish a scientific performance assessment system to evaluate its strategic aim execution timely and accurately and effectively.Based on the appraisal and problem analysis of the original performance assessment system for knowledge workers of agribusinesses, combining the corporation its own feature, adopting basic principles and methods of modern performance management, the paper conducts stud on the new improved plan of performance assessment system. First of all, the following problems are analyzed and the corresponding reasons are found:lack of understanding of performance assessment and scientific performance index system;single appraisal subject; unreasonable set of the apprisal period. In order to change the status quo of the present system, the corporation should regard performance assessment as a system engineering and according to the company's, strategic development demand and knowledge workers position personnel requirements, the categorized appraisal standards are analyzed and set up. What's more, the rules such as targetoriented, participating publicly, appraised by multi—side, operative, feed back timely and the scientific theories, such as KPI(Key Performance Index)and is applied to set up systematic, fair and transparent appraisal system and supply a set of complete performance assessment plan. Finally, in order to guarantee the implementation of the new plan, the relevant measures are made out to solve the problems which may occur during the implementation process of the new plan.Of couse, in view of the complexity of the job of knowledge workers, how to design its Performance index more scientifically still remains an issue for us to make a further. |
