Design And Implementation Of Corporation's Self-assessment System Based On Performance Excellence Model

Performance Excellence evaluation is an essential element to implement Performance Excellence Model. From the evaluation of the main roles, Performance Excellence evaluation can be classified as first-party evaluation (self-assessment), second-party evaluation (customer-assessment), and third-party evaluation (quality award review). Among them, the self-assessment of the organization is getting more and more approval and attention, as an effective method to examine self, make sure the advantages and find out the improving opportunity. This paper means to make a research via the corporation's self-assessment based on Criteria for Performance Excellence, combined with the subjects like quality management, software development, information management and database management, etc., designed and realized the corporation's self-assessment system based on Performance Excellence Model, and offered an exact technological support to corporation's self-assessment system based on Performance Excellent evaluation.This paper firstly designed a specific process and functional requirements of corporation's self-assessment system, based on questionnaire design offered by China Quality Association. Then with the method of development of software and information management system, made a plan for the overall design of corporation's self-assessment system. This system is divided into three subsystems, which are information management, online evaluation and feedback report generation, made an analysis to the three subsystems' specific realizing functional module and process, complemented the database design of supporting the system's background data running, and users can quickly manage the information.Finally, this paper selected the.NET as developing platform, Visual studio2010 as the developing tools, SQL server2005 as the database management system, combined with Microsoft office Excel and VBA, Finereport, fulfilled the corporation's self-assessment system base on Performance Excellence Model.
