Recent years, face to the big competition of the market, the production mode has been changed to the Agile Manufacturing which is order-faced, small batch and diversification from the inventory-faced in the semiconductor industry. More and more issues need to be faced in this kind of manufacturing, and during the Enterprise Informationalization, the ERP implementation could not satisfy the real requirement of the enterprise. So, when SPN Company faces to those kinds of questions, a new layer named Manufacturing Execution System (MES) which is between the ERP and the Shop floor equipments was came out, and that build a bridge to connect the ERP and the shop floor control software systems. However, the MES implementation was a high risk and high investing engineering in SPN Company, plant of factors effect the goal, and there will be kinds of risks from the system layout to the deployment. How to manage and control those risks efficiently, analyze the rules of the occurrence and forecast the impact, and, improve the benefits, quality and dependability, ware the problems that should be considered when implement the MES.All stuffs in the content are based on the problems above. At the beginning, it presents the investigation for the basic theory and concept, and establishes the theoretic foundation.Then, after the analysis of the particularity of the industry and the manufacturing and the management actuality of the semiconductor manufactory, present that based on the project risk management, the requirements for the MES and to be solved problems during the implementation in SPN Company which is exactly a semiconductor manufactory enterprise.Also, aiming at the related problems and demand during implement MES in SPN Company, it presents a new model in risk management for the MES implementation, and analyzes the content of the model, including Risk Identification, Risk Assessment, Risk Plan, Risk tracking and controlling. And to build the infrastructure for the risk management of the MES implementation in SPN company from the company policy, standard definition and skill training.At last, it summarizes the process of the MES implementation in SPN Company based on the Project Risk Management, and the benefits in the whole period of the implementation of the Project Risk Management.
