Shanghai SW Electrical Equipment Co., Ltd was founded in 2001, with the chance when China entered the WTO, to catch the opportunity to actively develop foreign trade in mechanical and electrical equipment, and also to develop domestic market resources, and gradually grow into research and development, production and sales of medium-sized enterprise. As the company expanded rapidly, but the overall management awareness and management still remain in the initial stage of development, and this become a bottleneck to further development, especially in extensive performance management. Due to bad performance management, the company's senior often become hectic bears, and employees can not feel the pressure; sometimes even though their sector's performance outstanding, but the overall performance and is not optimistic. The executives began to realize that the performance management needs to be improved urgently.The paper by deep research and diagnosis of Shanghai SW company's performance management system, combined with the company's strategy and the actual performance status, by guiding the performance management from strategy, improving the function of the departments and positions, setting KPI and determining the methods and cycles, applying the results and giving feedbacks, so as to optimize the performance management system, break through the bondage of the traditional performance appraisal, improve employee satisfaction.
