So far there is no clear conclusion, but take a positive view of the mainstream.Through nearly thirty years of development, China's insurance industry generally believe that CSR is beneficial to enterprise performance improvement, enterprise needs to fulfill their social responsibility has become a consensus. China's insurance industry CSR development has experienced from scratch, from passive to active.XX insurance company of Sichuan Province is a branch from the opening in the enterprise of CSR, and the CSR development process is from have without. Beginning in 2009, the branch adjust CSR policy, CSR have been gradually reduced or even stopped. Investigate its reason, there are several factor of inside and outside influence. The first external factors is pressure from the parent body. As the company continued losses, management considers that CSR cost is larger, and the performance without promotion, requirement each branch reducing in CSR. Secondly, the financial crisis led to the CSR fund limited. The last is the insurance industry competition aggravate, CSR effect falling. Inner factors primarily are the internal resources reduce, management difficulty is increased and the declining influence on stakeholder.By analysis for CSR adjustment before and after, found that the results are instead of intention, adjusting caused adverse to enterprise performance. On the short-term, the performance directly influence caused by - 23607000 yuan. The long run, reducing the company 's social image, increase the stakeholders on the company's negative attention, increased the company 's survival and development cost, create obstacles to the introduction and employment personnel, negative effect to performance, operating a vicious spiral.Accordingly, branch to fulfill social responsibility will not cause negative effect on performance. On the contrary, whether long-term or short-term CSR on performance improvement is to have stimulative effect, but this effect depends on the ability of influence stakeholders. Recommended that the branch should fulfill the CSR, strengthen the influence of stakeholders, put CSR into long-term development planning.
