Little City With A Sustainable Economic Development Capacity Study

Sustainable development is one of research hotspots to the scholars and experts in domestic and overseas. Demonstration area of industry to undertake transfer of the cities along the Yangtze River in Anhui Province which had been approved by the state council in 2010 would be constructed to a comprehensive and coordinated sustainable development in planning, but the mode of extensive economic development which is characterized to resource dependence has brought some pressure to the socio-economic and environment in the long-term. Therefore, this article was aim to the cities along the Yangtze River in Anhui Province as research object in this context. We have elaborated the relevant theory of the regional sustainable development so that took theoretical foundation. Then, we constructed evaluation index system which combined with the specific development of the cities along the Yangtze River in Anhui Province and referenced on the basis of previous studies. On this basis, the data of the cities along the Yangtze River in Anhui Province which was selected from 2000 to 2008 had studied the ability of economic sustainable development dynamically all nine years. An evaluation is the ability of sustainable development status and the trend of the cities along the Yangtze River in Anhui Province in this period. It was tested whether compliance with the development of soci-economy sustainable since the 21st century. Thirdly, we want to get some restriction factors through the front analysis which is influenced the sustainable development of the cities along the Yangtze River in Anhui Province, and then puts forward some suggestions and countermeasures. To evaluated sustainable development ability of the cities along the Yangtze River in Anhui Province is mainly the empirical analysis which using TOPSIS method and DPS software in this article.The results showed that:(1) Since 2000, the cities along the Yangtze River in Anhui Province with a sustainable development is from low to high level of stage development, it basically in line with sustainable development model, but the development have not the stability and regularity;(2) The cities along the Yangtze River in Anhui Province with the ability of economic sustainable development is not necessarily a positive correlation of itself, but whether it coordinate with the economy,social,population,resources and environment the overall development; (3) The cities along the Yangtze River in Anhui Province with a sustainable development of the coefficient of variation fell from 0.198 to 0.127. Description it with a difference in sustainable development through reduced after rising, which means an equitable and sustainable development in the direction; sustainability of industrial development between urban differences (except for 2000 and 2001) on the whole, less developed cities than between industries;(4) It was found that the regional which was varied greatly and the complex of development trend by classified in different years, but the cities along the Yangtze River in Anhui Province were above sustainable development in 2008.
