Since microcredit was introduced into China, this policy has significantly alleviated the credit demand of low-income population and contributed to accelerating urban-rural integration and improving life levels of people in rural areas compared to the traditional government poverty alleviation loans and other preferential agricultural policies. But we should consider that there is this kind of people in city areas too, for example, laid-off workers. Laid-off workers confront to the same situation and it is very important to solve their credit demand problems. So this study investigates the implementations of microcredit to laid-off workers and its effectsChapter 1 introduces the research background and raises research questions.Chapter 2 introduces theory basis of microcredit to laid-off workers in the views of traditional economics, Keynesian theory of unemployment and new unemployment Theory. Then we summarize the development situations of microcredit in our countries, including basic matters of laid-off workers.Chapter 3 shows the descriptive analysis of laid-off workers in sample areas, finding that their family situations were poor, re-employment problems existed and level of social security was low. These problems directly affect these people's sustainable development level and if support policy was not provided these people would probably fall into poor ones. Then this study points out the ways to solve the re-employment of laid-off workers.Chapter 4 introduces the implementation of microcredit policies to laid-off workers in Ning Bo and the effect of the implementation. The implementation part introduces details and ways. Then this kind of microcredit was evaluated from the effect and problems.
