Study On Project Performance Assessment Of Construction Entreprise

Project performance assessment is a management tool which could be adopted to improve the project management level of construction enterprises. Thus, the study on the performance assessment of the construction industry is of great theoretical and practical significance to the project management improvement of construction enterprises and healthy development of Chinese construction industry, when the project management level of Chinese construction companies is not high.Through a wide range of literature review and experts interviews, this paper established a performance indicator system of construction enterprises, including 4 dimensions and 13 indicators of performance evaluation, as well as a specific measure for each performance indicator which would ensure the rationality and feasibility of performance indicators. Then, in order to gain a more reasonable and realistic weights of project performance indicators, this paper established an Analytic Network Process model of the indicators. Finally, matter element analysis is used in the project performance evaluation of construction enterprises and association degree function in matter element analysis method is applied to make judgments. The level of project performance is illustrated by quantitative grades to avoid errors caused subjective evaluation of experts.In empirical study, based on a specific YZ residential project, this paper determines the classical field, controlled field and measured value through interviews with experts, then the established construction enterprises performance assessment model is used to evaluate the YZ residential project and verify the feasibility and practicality of Matter-Element Method's application in construction enterprise project performance evaluation.
