With the rapid improvement of modern science and technology and the incessantchanges in social development,many companies realize that they must have their owncore competitive advantage in order to survive and develop, and their corecompetitive advantage is ultimately created by people, which eventually lead tocompetition among enterprises into talent competition. Recruiting and keepingexcellent employees, making them play a role in creating results for the enterprisehave become the key factors to the success of businesses. More and more companiescome to realize the importance of human resources to business success. There is nodoubt that talent selection and recruitment are very important as a part of theimportation of talents. If something goes wrong in identifying talent for the company,it may make enterprises suffer unexpected losses. so it is necessary to establish annew effective mechanism of talent evaluation in order to ensure efficient selection ofpersonnel and reasonable allocation of talent.Personnel assessment has been used more widely in the selection and placementof talent in the business. Through the personnel assessment, enterprises can knowwhether a person qualify for the job, and then place him in a suitable position toachieve the talent-post matching in order to create more brilliant achievements forenterprises. Based on the related theory, this thesis has a review of the followingaspects of personnel assessment: its implication, types, and the basic principles ofpersonnel evaluation. Take the case in X Company as the object for analysis, the article analyzes the company how to use the technology of personnel assessment indetail including selecting the right talent assessment tools, design a set of scientificpersonnel evaluation system, and so on. Meanwhile, through the anatomical analysisof practical cases, summarize the existing problems in the application of the personnelassessment and then propose some corresponding improved measures andcountermeasures, which include: establish a personnel assessment system which suitwith the specific and real phase of this enterprise; scientifically set indexes with theirweights assessed of personnel assessment. well do the work of diversified use ofpersonnel assessment ;strengthen the talented person troops construction of personnelassessment.
