In recent years, innovation orientation is considered to be one source of excellent entrepreneurial performance, and has become the focus of practice and theory fields. In practice, there are many successful and failure cases about innovation orientation. So it has puzzled entrepreneurs whether they should carry out innovation orientation or not. Also in theory fields, the related research shows that innovation orientation has its superiority and limitations. Scholars have different points of view about how the innovation orientation promotes entrepreneurial performance. The mechanism of how the innovation orientation impacts on corporate performance is still uncertain and needs to do further research.In this context, the study has a comb about the domestic and foreign relevant literature, and sets the organizational learning for intermediary variable, then constructs a theory model for how the innovation orientation influences the enterprise performance. The model explains the mechanism of how the innovation orientation impacts on enterprise performance. It will provide a new explanation about the choice for innovation orientation and the source of excellent entrepreneurial performance. Do empirical analysis on the proposed theoretical model.The research results show that both innovation orientation and organizational learning have significant positive effect on the entrepreneurial performance, and the intermediary variable organizational learning plays a positive role in how the innovation orientation promotes entrepreneurial performance.
