Along with the development of national economy, the investment on power grid is significantly increased. So, decision makers pay more attention to economic benefit from the grid investment. Post-evaluation of the power transmission&substation project is more and more valued. Although to networking project post-evaluation has certain research, but to a large of public power transmission & substation projects is seldom studied, especially for how to identify their benefit, evaluation indices and weight and design of suitable assessment methods. This paper focuses on how to identify incremental benefits and incremental costs of the public network transmission&substation project, which based on their characteristics. This paper also established a set of economic benefit evaluation index system, which is aiming at practical, maneuverability, meet actual work required, and can obtain accurate data.In this paper the commonly used methods for post-evaluation of are studied. Further, this paper studies how to apply the contrast method to single index evaluation of economic benefit, and apply the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method to comprehensive post-evaluation of economic benefit,by combining the fuzzy mathematics with Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). Finally, the paper illustrates the proposed assessment methods with a practical case, which has shown the correctness and applicability of the proposed evaluation methods. To summary, this paper has achieved some experience on the power transmission&substation project post-evaluation; Moreover, some experience are given to improve project management. The research in this thesis can also be applied toprojects evaluation other than power transmission&substation projects.
