The Research On The Influencing Of The Timber Industry Competition By Industrial Agglomeration

The development of Industrial Agglomeration has tremendously accelerated the development of science and technology, economy and society, changed the economy model and exerted more and more effect on regional competition capacity. Industrial Agglomeration not only constitutes the basic space frame of world economy presently, but also is the headstream of competition capacity of a country or a region. Therefore industry cluster research bears great significance.This paper takes the Timber industry in Pizhou of Jiangsu Province for example to discuss the effects. First, the paper introduces the concepts of industrial agglomeration and industrial competitiveness, and the development of domestic and international industrial agglomeration theories and industrial competitiveness theories. Then, the paper elaborates present situation of industrial agglomeration of timber industry in China, and general situation of the Timber industry in Jiangsu Province. And then, the paper elaborates present situation of industrial agglomeration of timber industry in Pizhou and general situation of the Timber industry in Jiangsu Province. After expounding the station and development of the development of industrial of timber industry in Pizhou, the paper analyzes its cause of formation by using Porter's diamond model, and finds that essential conditions and the government have a great influence on it. On this basis, in light of the reality of timber industry in Pizhou, the paper makes an in-depth analysis on the effects which industrial agglomeration has on industrial competitiveness of timber industry. The paper puts forward that industrial agglomeration plays an important role in the promotion of industrial competitiveness of timber industry in operating costs, regional brand, professional division, competition and cooperation, innovation and market competition. Meanwhile, Industrial Agglomeration also brings structural, periodic and network risks to the development of timber industry, and has negative effects to the competitiveness of timber industry. Finally, in response to the relevant issues of industrial agglomeration of timber industry in Pizhou, such as low product levels, lack of excellent human resources, tightening resources, low-quality market management, and limited financing channel stage. The paper makes the countermeasures and policy recommendations to cultivate industrial agglomeration of timber industry in Pizhou and to improve the competitiveness of timber industry in Pizhou.
