Research On Planning Layout Of Religious Experience Tourism Area

In China, the layout of traditional religious sites draws the axis -courtyard spatial organization of traditional houses and palaces,which is a good mix of the essence of our traditional culture. With the current depth of religious tourism, the development of the traditional sites face some challenges, many religious development of tourist attractions are facing the following problems: catering, accommodation, parking, entertainment and other hospitality functions are not perfect. At present, human society has entered the experience economy era, the traditional monotonous and boring forms of religious tourism ,such as "seeing the temple during the day and sleeping at night", have been difficult to meet people's travel needs, and people want to live and eat in the temple to experience the profound religious culture.Thus, religious tourism places , which basically retain tourist service system, should pay more attention to the visitors'personalized experience requirements. Meanwhile, with the progress of times, the religion also calls for changes, performing in the higher level requirements of religious site ( function ,form , spirit )as a result of the "life religion" thought. In this context, the issues about the planning of religious tourism site were discussed.The article firstly discusses the concept, type and value of religious site, and analyzes its constraints of tourism development. Then, based on the definition of the tourism area in China's " classification and evaluation of tourist attractions quality ", the article defines the concept of religious tourism area and analyzes the particularity and basic ideas for its planning , pointing out that religion is the core of planning,therefore, much religious knowledge are deeply discussed in the article. This paper analyzes the planning background of the religious tourism area and its theoretical basis, and on the base of it, the paper discusses the function orientation and management of the religious tourism area.Due to the deep influence of Buddhism in our life and its high relevance to the traditional culture of china, Buddhist temple is selected as a typical case of common analysis to discuss the space layout of religious tourism area. From the historical perspective, the article analyzes the development of traditional temple layout.And then some basic principles which should be followed in the planning and construction of religious tourism area, are deeply researched ,as the important conclusion of the article , namely:Religious need is main consideration in the planning; Penetration of tourism is a necessary; "Experience" should be considered as a major innovative element when planning; Religious architecture innovation is a necessary trend ; Religious sites planning should follow the principle of "repairing the old as old " and "repairing the new as old ".
