EPC model is currently more common, has been successfully applied to the weapons, power, aviation, machinery, construction, coal, petroleum and chemical, water, railway and other 20 industries. In terms of the general contractor, EPC mode makes the profits, contracts, while the power is enhanced, the risk increases. Based on the above reasons this article is going to study the construction risk management issues from the perspective of the general contractor.The article is based on the studying of a large number of Literature and information about project risk management,firstly this paper describes the general contractors risk management model, risk formation, risk factors. Then according to the different steps of the risk management detailed studied the risk management of project general contracting.(1) Risk identification and the analysis phase.In this stage, risk management feedback model is built based on the system dynamics methods, identify the quality risk reasons,the time risk reasons and the cost risk reasons; According to risk identification feedback loops, turn the feedback loops into risk flow chart to estimate and analysis risk. In this part, it is detailed discussed that how to build the risk assessment models, it is testified that the feasibility and advantage beyond comparison of system dynamics in risk identification and analysis.(2) Risk evaluation stage. Take ALG engineering project as an example we get the results of risk factors identification, based on fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method we evaluate the project risk.(3)Risk control stage. The author reference ISO9001 standard to establish a risk control system and apply this process control method used in the general contracting risk management process. This method of process control is not only necessary for the general contractor risk management, but will be the best way, because it will help the general contractor to avoid and resolve risks in the risk management process.In short, this thesis chooses the risk management of general contracting as the starting point and end -result, through the theoretical analysis and the application as the reference for the EPC project risk management contractors. The author also put forward the idea of setting up a risk control system for EPC engineering contractors to defend the risks ,I hope that it will provided theoretical basis and practical guidance for the engineering contractors.
