With the rapid development of modern logistics industry, the informatization of logistics transport is becoming an inevitable trend of the modern logistics.Using the extensive coverage and stability performance GPRS network to achieve the process of information-based logistics would be a multiplier.This paper presents a program to solve the problem about the real-time locates and the material security real-time monitor during the logistics process. This plan is based on GPRS communication network and also using the knowledge of embedded and RF wireless communications.In this plan the SCM will be a hardware platform which plays a role of coordinating the working of GPS module,GPRS module and RF module.The SCM gets latitude,longitude and speed information of the transport goods form GPS module periodicity,then sends them to the logistics information center by the GPRS network.The RF module includes a main block and a dependent block,it's main function is to make sure the escorts working within the effective range which can ensure the safe of the goods transported.When the main block and the dependent block can't communications normally,which means the escorts don't work within the effective range,the SCM will sends this message to logistics information center.Study on GPS locates,GPRS network and RF wireless communications is carried while the plan is design.The main working during the system design is set up the hardware platform,write the system code and debuging the system. According the plan,the hardware platform will include main board and dependent board.Main board use STC11L60XE as the central controller,peripheral devices include GPS module,GPRS module and main RF module;STC11L60XE communications with GPS module,GPRS module through UART,communications with main RF module by SPI bus.Dependent board use a less pin SCM STC11L04E as the central controller,on dependent board the dependent RF module is the only peripheral devices;the communication carried out between STC11L04E and dependent RF module is also by SPI bus.The software system is desgined modular,software on main board inculde GPS information collection module,main RF function module and GPRS communication module;software on dependent board only involve system initialization code and operations on dependent RF module.As a result of debugging, the system already achieves the expected function. General view,the paln this paper presented has features of low cost,operating easily and scalability;at the same time this plan can also be used on other situations which needs locates and monitoring.
