KPI Performance Appraisal In Shandong Hotspring Group Commercial Building Construction Project Application

Shandong Hotspring Group is a rising-star private enterprise in Shouguang, Shandong Province. Developing and constructing commodity houses is listed in the core projects of its development strategy, which plays an important role in the group, therefore the project and even the entire group urgently need to enhance core competitiveness. For the short time of its being involved in this field and lack of relevant management experience, the enterprise was lagged behind its rivals in the project management of commodity housing construction, thus a reasonable, practical and effective way of management and assessment system is badly needed.Performance management is a new and increasingly mature management mode which begins to be widely used and gets more and more attention by domestic enterprises, and the application in improving the management of the enterprise and employees working enthusiasm has demonstrated good effects. This paper expounds the general situation of domestic and foreign performance management theory, method and application. It begins with the analysis of the present situation of the commodity housing construction project of Shandong Hotspring Group, pointing out the problems in the enterprise management and especially in performance assessment, analyzing the problems and their contributing factors, and then putting forward some reasonable and practical solutions.With project management related theories and KPI (key performance indicator assessment) performance assessment theory as the guide and combining the group commodity house construction project's actual situation, the paper analyzes various project management theories and evaluation methods, chooses KPI performance evaluation as the guiding theory for the management assessment mechanism, detailedly analyses the ideas and methods to build all-round performance index assessment system, and structures KPI system at different levels ranging from the cooperation, project department to staff, which have already been assessed in practice for some time. Considering the problems that arose during the process of its assessment in practice, proper adjustment and improvement has been made to the system. At the same time, this paper analyses its own deficiency, and puts forward corresponding suggestions for improvement.
