For a long time, China's urban development lags relatively. To speed up the process of urbanization, Governments at all levels have adopted a policy of accelerating the process of urbanization, trying to exogenous promote urban development. During the factors that hinder the development of the city, land system especially the rural land system plays a decisive role. Starting from this idea, this paper studies the relationships between rural land system in China and urbanization, following trying to coordinate the rural land system and the process of urbanization.This paper is divided into four parts.The first part mainly introduces the gist and background of the topic, research framework, methods and innovation of research. And then review the theory of Lewis two-sector,the Vachon theory and Adr model torre, which are modified by John Fei, Gustav Rarus and Adr Bhutto respectively according to Lewis two-sector model,then the multi-country model and the cost-effectiveness theory.Part II reviews the historical change of typical foreign countries urbanization and agricultural lands. Mainly focuses on the historical evolution of United States, Japan and Russia (former USSR), and summarize some useful lessons and experiences.Part III analyzes the development of our cities, farmland system and the relationship between them. Firstly review and describe the status of China's urbanization; secondly analyze the law of China's rural land system evolution; thirdly this part demonstrates the arrangement of the rural land system can influence the shift of the rural population to the urban. This phenomenon can not only affect the city's industrial development and population growth but also affects the rural areas resource allocation efficiency, thus affecting the improving efficiency of the agricultural production and; The fourth shows currently the land use of urbanization is extensive, the result is that it can influence the optimal allocation of land resources; The fifth stated that due to the disharmony of urbanization and agricultural land system, the efficiency of agricultural production is low, damaging the interests of farmers; Finally reveals the root causes of conflict between the cities and farmland system, proposed to build a harmonious system of urbanization and agricultural land, and promote the development of intensive urbanization. And then introduces mathematical model to do the Empirical Analysis of urbanization and agricultural land system, pointing out that agricultural land system is an important factor in urban development, while the development of urbanization is also contribute to the agricultural land reformation.Part IV includes two sections that deep the reform of agricultural land and promote the healthy development of urbanization. Based on the previous analysis and research, this part raises strategies and supporting policy design enhancing agricultural land reformation, and promoting the healthy development of urbanization.
