Organizational communication is to organize a necessary prerequisite for the existence and development. As Simon emphasized that there is no communication there is no organization, the organization that lack of communication can not prove the existence of its own significance and serve their purposes. Cameron stressed that the effectiveness of the organization is the core of organization theory, and all the work must be carried out around the organizational effectiveness. Achieving the organization's effectiveness, is the inevitable trend of the times, and factors that influence organizational effectiveness including management style, organizational rules, organizational climate, organizational communication environment, etc. This study sought to analyze the relationship between organizational communication and organizational effectiveness.In this study, organizational communication and organizational effectiveness were clearly defined based on the analysis of literature about organizational communication and organizational effectiveness; establishing the overall model of organizational communication. the variable factors of population and the organizational effectiveness and the hypothesis which is about how the organizational communication affect organizational effectiveness; the design of the questionnaire, pre-test. as amended, formal testing, statistical analysis and hypothesis testing.This study firstly described the current situation of organizational communication and organizational effectiveness about a public hospital and studied the impact demographic variables on organizational communication and of organizational effectiveness according to the survey data; Secondly, the correlation analysis was carried out about organizational communication and organizational effectiveness, and then made a multiple regression analysis, basing on the survey data; Finally,the corresponding management strategies were advanced, as the reference improving organizational communication and enhancing organizational effectiveness for the managers.The study founds:(1) organizational communication and organizational effectiveness of the public hospital was, respectively, on the middle level.(2)There was a positive direct correlation between organizational communication and organizational effectiveness within the public hospital;The dimension, organization communication climate, of organizational communication within the public hospital held the predictability to its organizational effectiveness.(3)organizational communication and organizational effectiveness of the population variables in different study factors exist some differences.Based on the finding and the conclusion, the following set of proposition could provide for the managers:(1) Enhance the transparency of information disclosure and fortify the informal communication.(2)Optimize the internal communication and coordination, improved communication climate.(3)Respect the senior staff and actively guide the role of them(4) Deepen staff participation and strengthen response mechanism.
