Organizational climate is the common psychological structure of organization members towards the perception on internal environment. From Kurt Lewin, the first proposed the concept of "psychological atmosphere" in 1935, organizational climate has been one of the hot spot of the research on organization in the Western. Since 1960s, lots of research has indicated the influence of organizational climate on organization performance. However, the research on organizational climate in our country is less than the western. Perhaps there are some distinctions because of different organizational culture and different types of enterprises. At present, these are a few of research on Chinese state-owned petroleum enterprises. Oil industry is the basic industry and backbone industry of our national economy. Our state-owned petroleum enterprises provide the important energy for our economy. The sustainable development of our state-owned petroleum enterprises relates the development speed and safety of our national economy.This study has conducted the questionnaire survey of workers in Chinese state-owned petroleum enterprises. And finally it drew the conclusion of the recycles valid questionnaires and statistics through careful analysis, including the descriptive statistics analysis, t-test, variance analysis, correlation analysis and regression analysis, etc. The conclusions are listed below:1.In Chinese state-owned petroleum enterprises, staffs of different genders, different ages, different educational backgrounds and different working ages have unremarkable different attitudes towards organizational climate.2.In Chinese state-owned petroleum enterprises, staffs of different job descriptions have remarkable different attitudes towards organizational climate. Junior staff scored significantly higher than that of management.3. In Chinese state-owned petroleum enterprises, there is a positive correlation between organizational climate and organizational effectiveness.4. Organizational effectiveness has a positive correlation with communication and management effectiveness, worm and support. But there is no clear correlation between organization climate and bonus-penalty and impression.5. Organization climate and organization citizenship behavior are both affects organization effectiveness significantly. And the affects of organizational climate on organizational is more significant than that of organization citizenship behavior on it.6. Organization climate in state-owned petroleum enterprises affects organization citizenship behavior significantly.7.The effects of organizational climate and organizational effectiveness are not mediated by organizational citizenship behavior.Finally, this paper discusses and analyzes the results made from the questionnaire survey and put forward some suggestions. Meanwhile, it makes a prospect for the future direction of further development.
