"Military products,quality first". Ammunition which is the core of munition needs high quality and reliability.It must adopt latest standard and use advanced technology of quality control. US brought out MIL-STD-1916 DOD preferred methods for acceptance of produc in 1996 which is based on process and prevention in controling quality.Six sigma technique can make products zero defect and can support the use of MIL-STD-1916.Analyzing and researching the core technology of MIL-STD-1916 and six sigma is helpful to improve ammunition quality.The effect to character of sampling inspection by different parameter was analyzed and researched, compare and analyze different sampling inspection standard, give some advice in choosing sampling inspection plan. The application of the sequential mesh test in ammunition quality control was analyzed, it's reducing inspection sample capacity under the premise of keeping the two sorts of risk was verified by an illustration.Linear evaluation model of sampling plan cost was established.The feasibility of this evaluation model was confirmed by comparing different sampling plan.The character of quality control chart and process capability in MIL-STD-1916 was researched, The application of time series weighted average method in controling small disturbance of process was analyzed.Sample points in process control with integrate autoregressive moving average model was simulated and forecasted and example was analyzed,the result showed that statistic process control can effectively control quality.The mechanism in quality control by sampling plan of MIL-STD-1916 is researched.Six sigma technique of quality control in using MIL-STD-1916 was introduced, the use of six sigma technique which includes study of sample data, measurement system analysis, reliability analysis, quality function deployment and design of experiment etc was analyzed and studied in the application of ammunition quality control. The use of design for six sigma and lean six sigma in ammunition quality control was studied.The analysis showed that six sigma technique can effectively improve quality and help MIL-STD-1916 apply.
