Secondary Vocational Schools Travel Professional Training Base Construction Problems And Countermeasures

In the document "On Accelerating the Development of Tourism Industry Issued by State Council", Tourism industry was set for the very first time as "strategic pillar industry of our national economy" on Sep.1st 2009. As the best tourism destination of China, Dalian's tourism industry is one of its important pillar industries. Tourism industry is labor intensive industry. There's a growing demand of tourism human resources as the rapid development of tourism industry and intensified competition of domestic tourism market, which will definitely speed up the training of tourism talents in secondary vocational school.Recent years has seen the rapid growing of secondary vocational education in the number and scale in our country. The development of educational characteristic and the improvement of educational quality becomes the urgent need of our social economy for its vocational education. Training Base is for cultivating the training personnel with technical skills, and it is also the key to run well the secondary vocational education. Only when the construction of training base is strengthened, the aim of cultivating the urgently-needed and high-quality training personnel with technical skills can be achieved. Currently, the construction of secondary vocational school's training base can't fit in with the objective requirement of talent training in vocational school. Therefore, the research about strengthening the construction of training base for secondary vocational school is of great practical significance.In view of the above mentioned background, the research bases on the construction of training base of Dalian Vocational School of Tourism, integrated with the fact of tourism major in secondary vocational education in Dalian. The research has an in-depth study of the tourism training base of secondary vocational school, finds out the current state of the construction of training base, reveals its existing problems, analyzes its causes so as to find out the strategy to solve the corresponding problems. Furthermore, starting out from the training objective of tourism major in secondary vocational school and current condition of training base, this study reveals the common traits of tourism training base in secondary vocational school, summarizes the basic theoretical model of setting principle, setting standard, management etc. for tourism training base so as to boost the healthy and orderly development of tourism training base of Dalian secondary vocational school.
