The Research On Hotel Management System Based On Wireless Sensor Network

In recent years, the hotel industry demands higher quality and safety of services in the situation of rapid development of various social services. Therefore, the emergence and development of scientific and efficient hotel management system gets more and more attention. And the management system itself becomes an important indicator to measure the star grade of a hotel. If there is not a scientific and efficient hotel management system, just depend on human services, then it will have not only the labor cost increases but the efficiency decreases, and ultimately lead to the significant drop of the hotel's service quality.With the scientific and technological progress, the hotel managements and services have been gradually automatic and intelligent, replacing the labor. The wireless sensor network is undoubtedly the most convenient and efficient tool to achieve the specific design of the automatic and intelligent hotel management system.The system makes the access control system, lift, room air conditioners, water heaters, lighting and other systems management more efficient, automated and intelligent. Also it improves customs the feelings which is comfortable, convenient and intelligent. All of these provide a strong guarantee of quality of service for the hotel. The intelligent hotel management system which contains a lot of weak electronic items needs teamwork to be developed, and I am involved in the design and development of the room access control system, so this article gives only the design of the access control system.The design breaks a single structure system for the traditional hotel management system. Two structures are used in the hardware design and network design:on the hardware it is divided into the total controller (AP station) and the lock panel; on the network it is using two network communication mechanisms, namely high-level of the GSM network and Ethernet and low-level of RF network. This structure greatly improves the security, stability and adaptability and reduce communication costs in the management which is easy to maintain and extend functions.The paper firstly gives a brief introduction about the development status of hotel management systems and the technology used in the design. And then it analyzes the architecture of the hotel management system, including hardware architecture, software architecture and the network structure. In the following, it detailed the hardware circuit design, and the circuit design, function and usage settings of each module, such as GSM module, Ethernet controller module, the RF communication module, the RF identify module.In the next, it analyzes the system software design, introduces the RF communication protocol and RF communications network configuration used in this design and gives a detail about software workflow of each sub-module.
