Wireless Lan Wpa Encryption Security Research

With the development of times and the advancement of technology, WLAN technology has been widely applied in our daily work. Wireless network technology has a wide range of advantages:fast and convenient, no wiring, easy maintenance, construction and low cost. However, Apart from the convenience it has brought, it has also triggered several problems. In this information-based society, secure wireless network is very important. Among the existing wireless network encryption algorithms, security is not absolute. First, this paper introduces the wireless network technology and the current situation of security of the wireless network technology, then it introduces the WEP, WPA, WPA2, WAP1and so on, analyzes the current situation of security. This paper also introduces the current precautionary measures of WLAN security and the boundedness of these measures. Second, the WPA which is the most frequently used is analyzed deeply in this paper, the security hole of WPA is found out. A cracking analysis has been done for the security hole of WPA. Then the GPU is introduced according to the security hole of WPA based on theory analysis, the cracking of GPU is analyzed theoretically. Then the WPA is cracked with the method of GPU in the platform of Linux, the result proves that the cracking speed of WPA can be increased with this method. After the WPA being cracked, some cracking tests have been done according to the category of encryption situations of WPA, the cracking results are compared and summarized. This paper decrypts various keys of WPA encryption methods based on new approaches of GPU by analyzing the security of WLAN and the decryption approaches to WPA encryption. Then, the comparison and analysis are made between this method and previous decryption method applied by scholars. The results show that this method can greatly increase the decryption speed and has a certain instructive significance for the development of wireless networks.
