Television Livelihood News Discourse Strategy

As one of the products of the news competition and reform, the generation of news for people's livelihood has historical inevitability.Although there still be debate on the definition of the "news for people's livelihood", there's no doubt that the form of news for people's livelihood has been more and more rich and ripe in discussion and debate.The news for people's livelihood is a news report concept formed and gradually strengthened in the practice of the journalists. This concept runs through every link of news reporting,through a certain way to be expressed.This paper study in discourse strategies such as context strategies, rhetoric strategies,conversational strategy etc, with the "Walk Grassroots in Spring Festival " on CCTV news channel during the Spring Festival in2011as an example, reading television news for people's livelihood which contains discourse purpose and its realization.Generally understanding, discourse strategy is a set of words norms which could be more advantageous to realize the speaking purpose, that is, accord with pragmatic principle. Among them, the context, is also the environmental that words exist, is one of the factors that must be considered in discourse strategy; The rhetoric, including the choice of words and words organization in discourse, TV pictures forming and so on, is the realization means of discourse strategy; Myth, reflected some significance into the report, it is the way of discourse strategy, also is the goal of discourse strategy; Conversation, namely the interviewer and the interviewee's verbal and nonverbal activities in news report, the speaker often has obvious persuading purpose.This paper study on the manuscripts of specific reports, interpreting the context strategy, the rhetoric strategy, myth strategy and how all these strategies used in news for people's livelihood, hope to give some reference to improve similar reports. At the same time, hoping to draw academic and industrial's attention to people's livelihood rationally, and pay more attention to the responsibility and efficacy that news for people's livelihood solve problems in people's livelihood in new situation.
