Children's Right To Information Research

Information, material, energy compose of human life. As the coming of thenetwork and information society, information has effected people′s living increasingly,the way of people's life has undergone earth-shaking changes.Especialy for children,they have information demand, but information environment composede with network,mass media and other electronic media have strongly effection on children. So how toprotect children's equal right to information, information acquisition, the right ofprivacy and the right to express, information environment, the right of intellectualproperty is the issue in whole society today.From the the existing research, this paper based on the important angle ofinformation in the children's development, combined the characteristics of informationsociety, analyzes the the "information" elements in children's rights, reinterpret thecontent of the children's rights, then put forward to the concept of information right ofchildren, make people change the traditional knowledge of four basic types of children'srights, make the research and protection according to the characteristics of informationsociety and the requirements for protection of the rights of children.First, this paper comb the related concept such as children's rights, informationrights, analysis the information elements in the children's rights, focuses on the contentof children's information right. Through the comparison of domestic and internationalprotection of children's information right,analysis the barriers on the realization of ourcountry's children's information right. And on the basis of four levels such as systemguarantee, organizational safeguard, family security, ego safeguard, building thesafeguard mechanism of children's information right, eliminate the idea, system obstaclefor the realization of the right to information, promote children's information rights,create a healthy and harmonious information environment for children.
